What are LEGO's plans for Mario Day 2026?

Mario Day is nearly here, and the LEGO Group's usual annual offers for the event are nowhere to be seen in 2026, leaving us to ponder their plans.

Over the past few years, the LEGO Group has run a variety of offers in the days before Mario Day, introducing discounts and other deals on all things LEGO Super Mario. These offers typically start around a week before the big day, but with one day to go before Mario Day 2026, the event's landing page has yet to be updated.

It would appear that this year, there will be no such sale or any offers on the LEGO Super Mario range, most of which is retiring by the end of the year. The only other happening from the LEGO Group on each recent Mario Day is some kind of set reveal.

Last year, this was the display-centric 72037 Mario & Standard Kart. While we know that there's a sequel build on the way, there have been no further teasers for the Luigi build in the weeks since that post.

Whatever happens tomorrow, if anything, we can see for certain that the LEGO Group's Mario Day celebrations are much quieter in 2026 than they have been in the past few years. Stay tuned to see whether other property-specific events, such as Back to Hogwarts, return to LEGO.com this year.
