Marvel Studios' What If…? Season 3 features more mechs

A more detailed look at the upcoming third season of Marvel Studios' What If...? has revealed some incredible mechs with potential for new sets.

A clip for the third season of What If...?'s third season offered a small glimpse at the multiversal stories to come but Marvel Studios have revealed more from the upcoming season, including a mech-centric episode ideal for a LEGO set.

The selection of four images are all taken from the third season but no release date has been shared at the time of writing. Given that the first two had a continuing story that developed in a select few episodes, we may be seeing more of The Watcher and Peggy Carter in the future too.

One of the images includes a pair of stylised mechs that seem ideal for a couple of models, especially given that mechs are the only LEGO sets we've received for What If...? so far through 76194 Tony Stark's Sakaarian Iron Man and 76201 Captain Carter & The Hydra Stomper.

Based on the preceding screenshot featuring Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Photon (Monica Rambeau) and judging by the colour schemes and logos on the stylised mechs, these two images appear to be from the same episode.

The other two feature Goliath, The Winter Soldier and Red Guardians and appear to be from the episode that the previously shared clip was from.

We've received a surprising amount of representation for What If...? across two full LEGO sets and two series of LEGO Collectible minifigures (over five minifigures), technically with one of each covering a season of the show (only because one episode was pushed back to the second season though).

There's no guarantee that we'll receive any minifigures or models for the third season, but there's potential for at least one from the mech-centric image.

A release date for the third season of What If...? has yet to be confirmed, but the marketing is undoubtedly in full swing so soon after the second season streamed on Disney+ in December 2023, so it may not be as long a wait as expected.
