LEGO earns two Game Awards nominations in Best Family

The LEGO Group has two Game Awards nominations for separate games this year, both in the same Best Family category.

Two LEGO games, LEGO Party and LEGO Voyagers, have earned themselves a nomination for Best Family game in the annual Game Awards. Going up against four other titles – Donkey Kong Banaza, Mario Kart World, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, and Split Faction – that gives LEGO-based games a one in three chance of winning.

The vote, shortlisted by the Game Awards panels of experts, is now open to fan vote. You can vote up until December 11 to have your say in what wins.

Both LEGO games launched in September and debuted to strong reviews. When we got our hands on LEGO Party, we dubbed it 'a wonderful, whimsical, funny and creative take on the familiar genre that builds on what has been successful before, elevating the experience to a new level', while our experience with LEGO Voyagers left us impressed with 'an incredibly cosy experience that provides more than enough fun to justify that cost'.
