Every exclusive LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star minifigure, ranked

LEGO Star Wars 75419 Death Star includes a tempting selection of exclusive minifigures we’ve never seen before, so here’s our ranking of all seven characters.

LEGO Star Wars 75419 Death Star was officially revealed today, with the massive Ultimate Collector Series model comprised of a whopping 9,023 pieces. The Empire’s fearsome battle station will be launching on October 1, 2025 for Insiders, with a wider release on October 4, and even comes with its own dedicated GWP in the shape of 40771 TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack.

In addition, 75419 Death Star also includes a whopping 38 minifigures, the most in any LEGO set to date. What’s more, seven of those characters are exclusive to the LEGO Star Wars model and have never been seen before.

With that in mind, take a look at how we've ranked the 75419 Death Star minifigures below and let us know your thoughts in the comments:

7 – General Tagge

Making a brief appearance in A New Hope as one of a handful of military leaders attending a meeting in the Death Star’s conference room is General Cassio Tagge. The character’s minifigure in 75419 Death Star includes his correct chest rank emblem, but is sadly lacking any dual-moulded legs.

6 – Admiral Motti

Also present during Episode IV’s conference room scene was Admiral Conan Antonio Motti, mostly remembered for being Force-choked by Darth Vader. Other than a worried alternate face and accurate rank insignia plaque, there’s little to differentiate Motti from other similar Imperial Officer minifigures.

5 – Hot Tub Stormtrooper

Originally known as Beach Troopers, these tongue-in-cheek characters first appeared in the LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy video game back in 2006. They would go on to pop up in more TT Games titles over the years, finally being named in 75419 Death Star as a Hot Tub Stormtrooper, with new trunks and the only minifigure in the set to receive dual-moulded legs.

4 – 5D6-RA-7

While similar to the RA-7 protocol droids that were included with 75051 Jedi Scout Fighter and 75220 Sandcrawler, 5D6-RA-7 makes its debut in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars UCS set. Featuring golden eyes and detailed chest and leg printing, the Imperial Security Bureau spy was an aide to Admiral Motti and briefly encountered by a disguised Luke Skywalker and Han Solo onboard the first Death Star.

3 – Imperial Dignitary

75419 Death Star includes yet another minifigure-first in the regal form of an Imperial Dignitary. Acting as advisors to the Emperor, five such purple and red robed characters appeared in Return of the Jedi, although only an unnamed Sim Aloo is included with next month's LEGO Star Wars release, complete with new hat element.

2 – R3-T6

With so many LEGO astromech droids having been produced over the years, it’s surprising that R3-T6 is only getting its turn in the spotlight now. The character can be seen in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in A New Hope, trundling down a Death Star corridor, with the droid figure boasting a white chassis with red trim and clear dome with printed details.

1 – Galen Erso

Of all the minifigures not to have been included in the line-up of LEGO Star Wars sets based on Rogue One, Galen Erso is the most obvious omission. The key architect of the Empire’s battle station finally gets his due in 75419 Death Star though, with the exclusive debut of the character decked out in a green and white scientist’s outfit, complete with stolen plans for the planet-destroying super weapon.

75419 Death Star releases on October 1, 2025, for Insiders, for everyone else from October 4, and will be priced at £899.99 in the UK, $999.99 in the US and €999.99 in Europe. The LEGO Star Wars set will also be accompanied by 40771 TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack, a free GWP available with all purchases of the massive model (while stocks last).
