LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 finalists announced

The LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 finalists have been announced, bringing fan-designed models for every faction of the community.

Five BrickLink Designer Program builders have been officially selected for Series 9 of the initiative, taking fan-designed sets from idea and into people's homes. These five sets – Wild West Blacksmith, The Fisherman's Village, Sleepy Dragon Inn, Pumpkin Patch, and Woodbrick Freight Depot – will now open for crowdfunding from October 7, 2026.

So long as they get a minimum of 3,000 pre-orders, they'll go into production and ship out to those who supported them. Click through to BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 to see the listings, or read on for full galleries and all the details.

Wild West Blacksmith

Designer: llucky Pieces: 2,513 Stickers: 2

Designed by llucky, Wild West Blacksmith features a detailed workshop from the frontier, complete with a detailed interior spread across two rooms. The space offers a taste of the blacksmith's working and private life, including both his workspace and his home. The exterior features trappings of the desert, dotted with cacti and sandy landscaping with the set's 2,513 pieces.

The Fisherman's Village

Designer: rocknbricks31 Pieces: 3,995 Stickers: 5

The largest set from Series 9 by far, rocknbricks31's The Fisherman's Village recreates a series of colourful buildings, including a lighthouse out to sea to help guide in the brick-built boat. Every interior is accessible from what appears to be an open back, with richly decorated interiors and several minifigures to flesh out the displays.

Sleepy Dragon Inn

Designer: MarinBD Pieces: 2,981 Stickers: 6

The BrickLink Designer Program has been a treasure trove of fan-designed medieval or Castle sets, and MarinBD's Sleepy Dragon Inn is Series 9's example. The cosy inn evokes memories of 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, but with even more pieces – and even more detail, including interactive features activated by turning the tree trunk, which in turn makes the chicken spin in the fireplace , guests dance on the carpet , and the bard to walk back and forth on stage.

Pumpkin Patch

Designer: SofieBuilds Pieces: 565 Stickers: 0

SofieBuilds' Pumpkin Patch is the smallest set of the lot, populated by just two minifigures on the 565-piece model. A squarely autumnal build that will surely be popular when crowdfunding opens in October, it's packed with pumpkins and warm-coloured flowers to evoke the crisp time of year.

Woodbrick Freight Depot

Designer: Mind_the_Brick Pieces: 2,199 Stickers: 8

Last but certainly not least comes Woodbrick Freight Depot, designed by Mind_the_Brick. One for the train lovers, this set recreates an 1890 train station, with walls made from dark orange brick and two dark-blue sliding doors. With working doors and a functional crane, the fun doesn't stop with this intricately designed model.
