LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight's content codes can learn a lot from the delays surrounding the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Four new LEGO DC sets are scheduled to drop on March 1, 2026 in the shape of 76330 Batman Logo, 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile, 76332 The Batman Batmobile and
It’s an approach that has been tried before by the LEGO Group and TT Games, most recently with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Unique unlock codes for the game were included in four LEGO Star Wars sets that released in 2020: 75279 Star Wars Advent Calendar, 75291 Death Star Final Duel, 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport and 75293 Resistance I-TS Transport.
However, significant issues surrounding the development of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga meant that the video game was delayed until April 5, 2022, leaving players waiting roughly two years before they were finally able to redeem their content codes in the game.
When LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga did finally arrive, only 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport and 75293 Resistance I-TS Transport were still on shelves, making the codes potentially inaccessible.
Fortunately, multiple additional LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga codes were also available when the game launched and were posted online, including access to the content included in the 2020 sets.

It’s possible that both companies have gone on to learn from the mistakes of the past and that the arrival of the four upcoming LEGO DC sets will coincide somewhat with the launch of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, assuming that the title isn’t delayed at all.
However, no official specific release date has been announced for the highly-anticipated LEGO video game beyond sometime in 2026 so far, so that remans pure speculation on our part for now.
