Nope, the LEGO Batman Logo isn’t Shadow Box-compatible

LEGO DC fans hoping to combine 76330 Batman Logo with 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box are in for something of a disappointment.

While three recently-revealed LEGO DC Batmobiles seem to be getting plenty of attention at the moment, a fourth upcoming superhero model is also on the horizon for next year. 76330 Batman Logo completes a quartet of 20th anniversary celebration sets launching in 2026, although it's a build that looks likely to be more of a display than play model.

Coming in at 678 pieces, 76330 Batman Logo recreates the Dark Knight’s iconic symbol with multiple greebling nods to the character’s universe and would appear at first glance to be a perfect fit for the now retired 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box.

Released in 2023, the unusual 3,981-piece build offered an interesting new take on the familiar location, one that opened up to reveal a detailed interior. 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box also included a hinged front section with a large Bat-symbol window cut out, one that would seem to be an exact match for the outline of 76330 Batman Logo.

Alas, those who do attempt to combine both LEGO DC sets will be in for something of a disappointment, as the designers behind 76330 Batman Logo have already confirmed that the two models aren’t compatible.

At a recent Fan Media Days event, LEGO DC designer Petra Persson was asked whether 76330 Batman Logo could be combined with 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box, but responded by saying, “Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit. It’s kind of close, but not exactly.”

Despite that lack of potential compatibility, fans of the Dark Knight will still have plenty to look forward to when it comes to 76330 Batman Logo. The LEGO DC set can be displayed on its included stand or on a wall, with an opening vault door revealing a golden Batman minifigure inside, and the model also comes with a QR code to unlock an exclusive version of the character in the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game.
