Get ready for the last-ever discount on LEGO Lion Knights’ Castle

LEGO Insiders Weekend 2025 kicks off tomorrow, with what’s rumoured to be the last-ever discount on 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle – and if that’s true, it’s not likely to last long…

10305 Lion Knights’ Castle is the flagship LEGO 90th anniversary set, and has been a mainstay on shelves since 2022. But all good things must end eventually, and so it is that this 4,514-piece ode to classic LEGO castles will retire for good at the end of 2025 – but not before one last shot at picking it up on sale, at least if a rumoured list of LEGO Insiders Weekend deals is to be believed.

According to BrickTap, 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle will be available with a flat 20% discount on November 22 and 23, bringing it down to around £276 in the UK, $320 in the US and €320 in Europe. You’ll also receive double Insiders points worth £27.60, $32 or €32 respectively and qualify for all three LEGO Insiders Weekend 2025 gifts-with-purchase. That’s a solid return on one of the best LEGO sets available right now.

With all that in mind, though, it’s also likely to be the last return you’ll ever get on it. While this deal and the rest are supposedly good through the entire Black Friday period, right up through Cyber Monday on December 1, chances are strong that 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle will sell out pretty quickly once LEGO Insiders Weekend begins.

That’s a gut feeling on our part, as it’s impossible to say how much stock of this set remains worldwide. Maybe there are warehouses full of surplus copies that the LEGO Group is struggling to shift. But take one look at everything it has to offer, and the fact it’s long outlasted its 90th-anniversary contemporary 10497 Galaxy Explorer, and tell us you feel confident that it will stick around until December.

And if you need a reminder… 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle includes not only 4,514 pieces that come together to form perhaps the greatest LEGO fortress of all time – which can hinge open and close for multiple display options – but within that part count are 22 minifigures, a cow, a horse, a lamb, and tonnes of tiny details and accessories. It’s the dream LEGO set for castle fans and one certainly not to miss if you’ve not yet picked it up.

There’s a good argument to be made too for springing for a second copy (as I’m considering) to expand the initial set, combine with the also-retiring 10332 Medieval Town Square or build into one of any number of alternate models over on Rebrickable. For castle builders in general it’s a pretty sweet parts pack at full price and an even better proposition for 20% off.

So if you only buy one set this LEGO Insiders Weekend, you could do much worse than 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle… but make sure you’re ready to place your order when the Black Friday precursor event kicks off at midnight local time just to be on the safe side. It might just be your last chance.
