A new LEGO Icons set made a big splash this week, with 10366 Tropical Aquarium available for LEGO Insiders to purchase right now, although the model is already on backorder in the US. In addition to the main build itself, members who take the plunge and buy the colourful underwater utopia can also score an exclusive free GWP, while stocks last.
5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food is available to LEGO Insiders with all orders of 10366 Tropical Aquarium until November 19, 2025, but no images of the two sets combined have been spotted until now.
Brickset has posted pictures of both the 4,154 piece LEGO Icons set and its 177-piece promotional freebie together, revealing just what the pair of aquatic models look like when they're attached to each other.
It seems as if 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food can be placed anywhere along the top of 10366 Tropical Aquarium’s black frame, as there are no studs or other locations to clip the GWP to the LEGO Icons build.
The promotional set is a small incentive for those who purchase 10366 Tropical Aquarium, and it doesn’t seem to be an essential add-on for the LEGO Icons build, although the GWP does come with a unique printed brick for the model’s fish food packet.
10366 Tropical Aquarium is available exclusively for LEGO Insiders to purchase first, along with the accompanying 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food GWP. Wider availability for everyone else kicks off from November 16 and the LEGO Icons set is priced at £399.99 / $479.99 / €449.99.
