Shoppers in the US can currently pick up a free LEGO GWP at Best Buy, one that acts as something of a companion to 40805 Arcade Machine.
We've been pretty impressed with 40805 Arcade Machine, a 468-piece LEGO set that launched on August 1, 2025, as it offers up a miniature slice of retro gaming fun, complete with plenty of secrets tucked inside to discover, and all for a very reasonable price too.
Following hot on the heels of that model comes yet another video game build, this time in the shape of a free gift-with-purchase available from US retailer Best Buy. 6581808 LEGO Arcade Race is a 119-piece set that can currently only be obtained when shoppers spend $60 or more on LEGO products in-store during October 2025.
The Zip-lock bagged model recreates a typical arcade cabinet of yesteryear, complete with a driver’s seat, steering wheel controls, a screen with roller skate elements representing two race cars and plenty of flashy graphics.
In addition, 6581808 LEGO Arcade Race also comes with a minifigure of a player sporting a torso that features a Classic Space logo print and an astronaut wearing a blue helmet, a familiar element that’s previously appeared in the likes of 31142 Space Roller Coaster and 5007490 Space Adventure Ride.
The LEGO GWP is available from participating Best Buy stores in the US during October 2025, but there are no indications as to when the promotional period for the set may end.
There’s no word at this stage if 6581808 LEGO Arcade Race may eventually be available as a GWP in other territories at some point, or if the set is limited to being a regional-exclusive.
In the meantime, video game fans can always purchase 40805 Arcade Machine right now, with the LEGO set priced at £34.99 in the UK, $39.99 in the US and €39.99 in Europe.
