The two most recent LEGO Ideas projects to gain 10,000 supporters share a love of the game – but of very different kinds.
LEGO Ideas has grown by two more fan-designed projects, now both in with a chance of becoming future LEGO sets. They both recreate different types of games, one on a football pitch and one on a tabletop.
We've got all the details, as well as pictures of the proposed models, below.
Anfield Stadium - Liverpool FC
First-time 10K Club member RDDR_YNWA's Anfield Stadium - Liverpool FC uses 3,793 pieces to recreate the Premier League football team's home. Built by a self-confessed Liverpool fan, there's clearly a lot of care that's gone into recreating every detail, including the modernised Main Stand and Anfield Road Stand, complete with authentic sloped roofs, and the classic exteriors of the Kop and the Kenny Dalglish Stand.
LEGO Monopoly
LEGO Monopoly was designed by Master_Brickz, who already has another board game-themed project under review with the Ideas team with LEGO Settlers of Catan. This particular model is based on the classic 1935 edition, with a few aesthetic changes. It comes with everything you'd need to play a LEGO-fied version of Monopoly, including player tokens, money, and other accessories.
