A first teaser for 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler has already revealed plenty of details to spot in the upcoming LEGO Jurassic World set.
The LEGO Group and Jeep dropped a surprising joint teaser on their official social media accounts yesterday, with a first look at an upcoming collaborative set. 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler is a 1,924-piece build, one that appears to be packed with plenty of dino details.
Despite only a limited glimpse of the LEGO model having been revealed so far, here are five impressive things we’ve already spotted in 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler.
1 – Working winch
At the front of the LEGO Jurassic Park four-wheeler is a winch, matching the same equipment seen on the 1993 movie vehicle. The teaser footage for 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler shows the hook and cable of the winch being pulled out, which in the film allowed hapless computer programmer Dennis Nedry to attach it to a nearby tree.
2 – Dennis Nedry’s Jeep

Speaking of Nedry, the numbering of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler clearly points to the brick-built vehicle being based on the same one the character drives in the Steven Spielberg film. The number ‘12’ can be spotted on the side of the Jeep, as can a ‘JP12’ on its bonnet, although it’s too early to say if those are stickers or printed pieces.
3 – Soft top roof

Clearly visible in the 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler teaser is the vehicle’s cloth soft top roof, represented by what seems to be a single fabric piece. That part of a real-life Jeep can be folded down in some models of the vehicle, although it’s hard to tell at this stage if the LEGO set will have the same sort of functionality.
4 – Suitable side build

In addition to the main vehicle itself, 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler’s box also shows a small side build will be included inside, one that makes sense for the set. The build has a sign of the island standing on a base covered in plant pieces, with directions to the theme park’s East Dock, although in the movie the arrow ultimately guides Nedry to his dino doom.
5 – Is that a Dennis Nedry minifigure?
The top of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler’s box features what appears to be an information plaque on the licensed vehicle, a black display stand and a blurry minifigure. Speculation on our part would seem to suggest that might be Dennis Nedry, who last popped up as minifigure in 2023’s 76958 Dilophosaurus Ambush, and if it is, we’re hoping for a shaving foam can as the perfect accessory.
We’ll find out much more about 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler as soon as full official details of the set are forthcoming from the LEGO Group.
