There is now plenty of precedent for LEGO Speed Champions cars to become LEGO Icons sets and the only question left is which LEGO Speed Champions model will be selected next. Since we don't know exactly what the future holds for the theme at the time of writing, we're going to focus only on cars that have had a LEGO Speed Champions model previously.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) could be an interesting pick either way to see how the LEGO designers would recreate the striped livery at a bigger scale – stickers, prints or brick-built.
Looking further into LEGO Speed Champions' history, it would be interesting to see the Hot Rod from 2016's 75875 Ford F-150 Raptor & Ford Model A Hot Rod as we rarely see LEGO Hot Rod models, never mind at a larger scale.
