US fans can still grab a slice of LEGO Star Trek

LEGO Star Trek's only sets may have boldly gone off shelves in the US, but American fans can still get a slice of the partnership online or in store.

During the start of Black Friday yesterday, both 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D and 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod sold out on the official online store in the US, suggesting that the partnership has been popular with fans. 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D is also on back order in the UK and Europe until February 2026.

While the main Star Trek set will come back in stock, eventually, 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod is likely gone for good, and at the time of writing, US fans can't get any LEGO Star Trek models. There's one element of the Star Trek partnership that remains in stock right now, though.

The online Minifigure Factory service has seen Star Trek follow in the footsteps of The Goonies and Transformers (references to both of which have been removed from the service) with a suite of designs based on the franchise to print on minifigure torsos.

There are Starfleet uniforms in varying colours, a couple of graphic shirt-esque designs and some standalone images to move across a minifigure's torso at will to make your own look. It costs $11.99 to make one minifigure, and the designs will be printed on a white torso.

While the online Minifigure Factory service is only available in the us, physical machines can be found at LEGO stores worldwide and are typically updated with all the new designs at the same time. You might want to plan a trip to your local LEGO store with a Minifigure Factory station to get a slice of LEGO Star Trek, without paying £349.99 / $399.99 / €399.99.

It's a decent solution for US enthusiasts eager to explore LEGO Star Trek, but those in other regions can still order 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D on back order and qualify for the other two Black Friday gifts-with-purchase.
