If you still need convincing ahead of the release of the latest LEGO modular building tomorrow, here are seven reasons to snap it up.
The LEGO Group is returning to its usual rhythm of releasing a LEGO modular building at the start of a new year. For 2025, that means it's time to welcome LEGO Icons 10350 Tudor Corner to the LEGO system.
Priced at £199.99 in the UK, $229.99 in the US, and €229.99 in Europe for its 3,266 pieces and eight minifigures, 10350 Tudor Corner is a decidedly British creation, offering a brick-built take on Tudor architecture, including a restaurant, a haberdasher’s, a clockmaker’s workshop, and a flat tucked away into the attic.
We thoroughly recommended the upcoming LEGO modular building in our review but if you want some quickfire reasons to buy 10350 Tudor Corner, read on.
7 – Unique building techniques
10350 Tudor Corner tackles Tudor architecture for the first time so it's perhaps no surprise that designer François Zapf employed some new building techniques for the set.
“From very early on, the team were amazed by the techniques, especially the black-and-white chequered techniques that Francois did,” Ashwin Visser, the LEGO graphic designer who worked on 10350 Tudor Corner told New Elementary. “We were all like, wow, when he first showed it. We have not seen this before in any Modular Buildings, or actually any other LEGO sets for that matter, so it’s super fresh that it’s in here.”
François put cheese slopes to ingenious use to create an entirely new effect below the roof, mimicking the black and white pattern present on classic Tudor buildings. Using a combination of slopes and plates, the black beams are built by just dropping a tile into the gap that’s left in between, creating a thin line in an innovative new way, which you can see in the pictures above.
“The angles make it a bit tricky, it was a challenge,” François explained to Tiago Catarino with a smile. “It has such a weird shape. A steep roof like this is something that is really tied to the Tudor architecture style and having the right angles and avoiding any collisions [was hard], plus the building experience.”
6 – One-of-a-kind

That building technique and the overall British style of 10350 Tudor Corner makes the modular building a truly unique set. You're unlikely to get this level of detail on this type of architecture again, or at least not anytime soon. The asymmetrical exterior, combined with a colourful and eclectic mix of interior locations, makes it stand out not just from other modular buildings but from any other LEGO structures.
5 – Storytelling details
Zooming in on the interior, there are plenty of unique storytelling details that make 10350 Tudor Corner a delight to build. One example is the black plates around the fireplace.
"Maybe something has happened because there's some ash on the ground," François points out to Zusammengebaut. "That means the clockmaker will have to vacuum again, so that's why the black is around the fireplace. We try to add these little stories throughout the modular building."
There are plenty more to uncover, with tiny details dotted throughout that flesh out the eight minifigures and their back stories as you build.
4 – Plenty of new pieces and recoloured elements

We've gone into detail on all the new and recolured elements here but expect quite a few. That's because there are no stickers to be found in 10350 Tudor Corner. While modular buildings tend to have plenty of new prints, having absolutely no stickers is a rarity – and a welcome one for those who drive themselves mad trying to align stickers perfectly.
3 – Standalone modular building...

The quirkiness of 10350 Tudor Corner means that it's an excellent entry point to the Modular Building Collection. It easily holds its own as a standalone build, with plenty of colour and both residential and retail options to offer a complete section of a brick-built urban space.
2 – ...yet still designed to slot into your LEGO city

That's not to say that it doesn't work alongside other sets from the collection, however. In fact, 10350 Tudor Corner is especially designed to slot in next to 10326 Natural History Museum. The alleyway keeps some distance between the different colour schemes of the buildings, while the spacious pavements of both sets mean there's a cohesive flow between the pair of them.
1 – The largest 32x32 build yet

You might be wondering how all of this detail is packed into one set and that's because it has the largest piece count of any 32x32 modular building – but without an increased price. That means you're paying the same as you would for 10312 Jazz Club and 10297 Boutique Hotel but getting hundreds more pieces for your buck.
That pays off massively with a busy but not over-reaching modular building that is equally perfect for first-time buyers as it is for long-running collectors.
10350 Tudor Corner will be available to buy from January 1, 2025, retailing for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99, available for Insiders from January 1 to 3, and then for everyone else from January 4 to 7 (while stocks last). It also comes complete with its own exclusive GWP, 40757 Corner Kiosk, available from January 1 to January 7.
