Rumours have suggested that we could potentially be seeing an incredible LEGO Icons Concorde this autumn.
The rumour about 10318 Concorde from brick_clicker on Instagram has given us quite a bit of information on the potential aircraft set. It’s said to be coming in at 2,083 pieces and be priced at $199.99, with no word so far on UK or EU prices.
We’ve also been told that the Concorde, modelled of course after the famous supersonic airliner, will include a stand for the aircraft as well as a small information plaque that comes with it.
LEGO fans have long since been keen for a Concorde model, and while a stud-free a LEGO Ideas Legendary Concorde model was able to reach 10,000 supporters and got to the review stage last year, the project ultimately wasn’t approved by the LEGO Group.
Currently, the only available LEGO aircraft that has a similar price tag is 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter, which is an 11+ LEGO Technic set.
As usual, these rumours have not been officially confirmed by the LEGO Group, so take caution until we have actual confirmation about the set.
