Rumoured LEGO Star Wars Ewok Village: What to expect for the price

Rumoured LEGO Star Wars Ewok Village: What to expect for the price

With a LEGO Ewok Village rumoured to return this year, here's what could be on the cards based on the information circulating so far.

According to the latest rumours from Brick Tap, a set with the expected name of Ewok Village could be coming out sometime this year, said to be priced at $179.99. That's all the rumoured information available right now, but the potential for a return to the underserved Ewok Village would certainly be a popular move.

The only detailed LEGO recreation of the pivotal location is 2013’s UCS set 10236 Ewok Village, a 1,990-piece set that hit shelves for $249.99. Despite that being the only point of reference for what the village could look like as a LEGO set, the limited rumoured details paint a picture of something quite different in many ways.

What's more, there have been 13 years of LEGO development separating the two sets, offering a lot more potential for the LEGO Star Wars designers to play with. With that in mind, here's what we might be able to expect from the rumoured set.

Of course, we're just speculating and it's worth reiterating that we won't know for sure that this set is on its way until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, so take the rumours of a returning Ewok Village with a pinch of salt for now.

Don't expect the same sprawling scale as the 2013 version

If the rumoured Ewok Village does come about, however, you can expect quite a different scale to the 2013 version. Price-wise, the 2026 model is close to 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base, which retailed for $169.99. Considering both recreate locations rather than ships or buildings, this feels like a far comparison to draw.

Encouragingly, the nature of the Ewok village as seen in Episode VI means it would lend itself quite well to 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base's style, perhaps more so than the base did. Where 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base drew criticism for not offering enough depth to the vast structure, the Ewok village benefits from being a less dense location to begin with.

The main tree where the first proper meeting with the Ewoks and the celebrations after the Empire's fall take place could form the central part of the build, perhaps hinging open to offer brief glimpses of the interior like 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base.

However, the interiors of the tree buildings are not the main focus, with much of the action and memorable scenes taking place on the platforms. That saves the presumably limited piece count with this budget to lean into detail on the trees, bridges, and exterior spaces.

Botanical diversity would serve this set well

What's more, the advancements in LEGO elements have perhaps been most keenly felt in the world of plants and leaves – which would serve a possible Ewok Village well. Even this year, we've had new LEGO Botanicals sets debut fresh leaves, like the drooping greenery in 11501 Tulip Bouquet and the new 1x3 single leaf elements hidden in the flowers themselves.

Plus, the ever-growing number of different plants has debuted countless ways to create greenery, branches, and flowers over the last few years. For a village that is centred around trees and plant life, those fresh building techniques could help to make the treetop area as full and alive as it appears to be on screen.

Some long-awaited minifigure updates

Considering the name of the rumoured set, we'd certainly expect a fair few Ewok minifigures to be included in the set. Since 2013, the Ewoks have gone through plenty of refinement, culminating in 2025's 75430 Wicket the Ewok and the minifigure inside it.

This is Wicket at his best we've seen as a minifigure so far, with detailed printing on his face, texture on his torso to mimic fur, and a smooth fit to the headpiece, recreating his on-screen hood. However, his fellow Ewoks haven't had the same treatment in several years, with the only Ewok minifigure coming out since 2013 a novelty holiday edition.

Considering the Ewoks boast various different colours of fur and accessories, this set would be the perfect time to give the same modern design to Wicket's friends as well.

The humans present in the Ewok village are also due for an upgrade. We've never really gotten Endor versions of the major characters that tick every box. Even 2023's 75353 Endor Speed Chase Diorama left something to be desired.

There tends to be a style where the characters are dressed head to toe in camo, without any details given to the ponchos and accessories that they have in the movies.

The perfect opportunity for Force ghosts

Another minifigure opportunity could be the long-awaited arrival of minifigure Force ghosts, so far only seen digitally in the LEGO Star Wars video games. Although Force ghosts have appeared on other Star Wars media, the most memorable moment took place in the Ewok village.

The rumoured return of Ewok Village could be the perfect springboard to launch three Force ghost minifigures at once: Anakin, Yoda, and Obi-Wan. If we're still using 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base as a blueprint for what this set could look like, that set had 10 minifigures, so there's certainly room for Ewoks, Endor outfits, and Force ghosts galore if there's a similar number of minifigures included.
