Platypus project poses less risk in LEGO Ideas review

A semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action has landed in the LEGO Ideas review, posing less risk for getting Phineas and Ferb over the finish line.

What might appear to be a normal teal platypus model has reached the second 2025 LEGO Ideas review, but equip the fedora, and you'll see that this is Perry the Platypus / Agent P from Phineas and Ferb. It's the latest attempt to get the animated series a LEGO set, and the second in this review round.

This project comes from DragonBuilder01, and it managed to hit 10,000 supporters in less than one month. The build includes a customisable platypus build which can be equipped with a fedora, grappling hook and jetpack to transform Perry into Agent P.

Four Phineas and Ferb minifigures are also proposed, including Phineas, Ferb, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Francis Monogram. It's a clever way to recreate the iconic animated platypus, using moving parts to great effect.

Unlike the submissions for Hamilton, SpongeBob and My Neighbor Totoro in the second 2025 review, it covers an entirely different subject matter than Greygo's Phineas and Ferb project. That might give it more of a chance in the second 2025 review, since the LEGO Ideas team can theoretically pick one or the other for a set without unreasonably upsetting the rejected fan designer, since the builds aren't too close to one another.
