How to make a Heavy Point Chopper LEGO One Piece figure

How to make a Heavy Point Chopper LEGO One Piece figure

Chopper is making his figure debut in LEGO One Piece later this year, only in his smallest form, but fixing this is easy using accessible elements.

The arrival of LEGO Chopper is coming later this year as part of two (or three, if you count a much larger buildable figure) sets. These are 75641 Dr. Hiriluk's Hideout and 75645 Battle at Drum Castle. They feature a new hat element with his antlers, as well as a fresh baby body piece with moving hands and a space for a minifigure head.

Chopper only appears in one of the three forms he takes in the Netflix adaptation, including his humanoid Heavy Point form. Upgrading the official figure is thankfully easy since the LEGO Group has opted to depict him with a standard minifigure head. Here's everything you'll need to make a Heavy Point Chopper LEGO One Piece figure.

The most important pieces you'll need for a LEGO Heavy Point Chopper minifigure are the head and hat from either 75641 Dr. Hiriluk's Hideout or 75645 Battle at Drum Castle. We'd opt for the parts from the latter, simply because Chopper's angry expression is present in that set. Otherwise, his humanoid form will look too happy or too sad compared to the series.

75641 Dr. Hiriluk's Hideout will be released on August 1 for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99, whereas 75645 Battle at Drum Castle is £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. Both sets include more than just Chopper, but the former is the most affordable way to obtain these necessary parts.

Torso

Everything else necessary for the figure will be found outside of LEGO One Piece. Since the Chopper head and hat are compatible with minifigures, we can simply attach them to a torso. Brown LEGO minifigure torsos aren't as common as you would think, at least not without some kind of clothing print. There are two clear options, one of which is not quite the correct colour.

Dale from 71024 Disney Series 2 features a torso with a brown hue close to that of Chopper's minifigure head, and with some fur printing that will work well for a Heavy Point figure. While the series has long since been retired, you can find the minifigure for just over £8 on Amazon or an average of £3.90 on Bricklink.

Alternatively, the Monkey Costume from 71051 Series 28 Animals has a darker brown torso that will be easier to find, but it isn't the correct colour. While this series has now retired, you can likely still find the £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99 series on store shelves for a bit longer. Use Brick Search's minifigure scanner to find the Monkey Costume more easily. Both are decent options, but your choice will depend on your available budget.

Legs

Chopper wears a pair of dark red shorts in all of his forms, and ideally, we'd need a dual-moulded pair of legs in dark red and medium nougat. That part just doesn't exist, though. Instead, a pair of single-moulded dark red legs will suffice. Minifigures legs in this colour are easy to find in many current sets, or you can click here to purchase these legs on Pick a Brick now.

Combining these four elements will make you the Heavy Point Chopper minifigure you've been waiting for, at least until the LEGO Group makes an official one. The One Piece Season 2 sets will be released on August 1, 2026.
