LEGO Speed Champions Ken Block's Hoonicorn revealed

Another LEGO Speed Champions car has been revealed, recreating the Ford Mustang Hoonicorn as created by Ken Block for Gymkhana Seven.

Ken Block is the latest real driver to be turned into a minifigure as part of this summer's 77262 Ken Block's '65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1. The 345-piece model depicts the titular car, as featured in Gymkhana Seven, as well as a Ken Block minifigure.

The movie car was co-created by Ken and HOONIGAN for the film, now remade as a LEGO Speed Champions set. It has what appear to be new elements for the fenders to extend the wheels beyond the usual scope of the theme's models.

The model features many details through stickers, as well as an interior space for the exclusive Ken Block minifigure to sit. That minifigure comes with a new face, hat and torso element. You can take a closer look at the new LEGO car in the following gallery.

The shape of the LEGO set is a closer match to the car as seen in the Gymkhana film, and the box art even features a reference to one of the film's locations. This new LEGO Speed Champions set will launch on June 1 for £22.99 / $29.99 / €27.99. That's a $2 price increase in the USA compared to every other set in the theme this year.
