LEGO Jurassic World summer 2026 wave covers every era

LEGO Jurassic World's upcoming range of sets covers every era of the franchise so far across six sets, with plenty of attention paid to one era.

Six recently-revealed LEGO Jurassic World models are some of the theme's most varied to date, and not just because two 18+ models are coming in a short period of time. It's also one of the theme's most varied waves to date for depicting every trilogy of films and the characters within them. This includes Jurassic Park with the likes of Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm, Jurassic World with Owen Grady and Jurassic World: Rebirth with Duncan Kincaid.

The April 2022 wave covered both eras of the Jurassic Franchise, too, back when it was just Park and World. Now that Rebirth has started a new era, it inherently becomes more challenging to cover them all in one wave. To do so across six sets is no small feat, though that's not to say that the coverage is equal for every era.

Here's a look at which part of cinema history the new LEGO Jurassic World sets coming in August cover, including their minifigures.

Jurassic Park

The first Jurassic Park movie has the most sets in the summer 2026 wave, across both 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops. The Jeep model's link to that original movie is much clearer, including the Dennis Nedry minifigure with the Barbasol can. The latter's link to the movie is mostly through that exclusive Dr. Gerry Harding minifigure, but the plaque makes it clear this at least represents the Jurassic Park Era.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park will also receive its first set in August in the form of 77978 Young T. rex Transport Truck. It features minifigures of Sarah Harding and Ian Malcolm in their outfits from the sequel. The new Junior dinosaur element completes the coverage of the first film, even though the builds are simplified since this is a 4+ model.

The third Jurassic Park film is also getting its first LEGO set in years this summer. 77982 Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape is based on Jurassic Park III, including a brick-built version of the film's spinosaurus, as well as minifigures of Alan Grant and Billy Brennan.

Jurassic World

Jurassic World only has one set in the summer 2026 wave – the 4+ 77981 Velociraptor, Stegosaurus & Pteranodon Rescue. You wouldn't be able to tell that this covers the World era of the Jurassic Franchise if it weren't for the updated Owen Grady and Kayla Watts minifigures. The contents of the model otherwise don't match any scenes from Jurassic World: Dominion.

Jurassic World: Rebirth

Jurassic World Rebirth similarly only has one set in the summer 2026 wave, and it's a remake of one of the film's first builds. 77983 Mosasaurus Dinosaur Boat Attack features our first moulded Mosasaurus figure, including minifigures of Henry Loomis, Zora Bennett and Duncan Kincaid. A second Jurassic World: Rebirth film is rumoured, but there's only one film in this era of the franchise with these characters at the time of writing.

The new LEGO Jurassic World sets will be released on August 1, except for 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler on May 7, and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops on June 1.
