The LEGO Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler includes one new minifigure of Dennis Nedry, and the designer has stated that he was the obvious choice.
When
The designer behind the upcoming Jurassic Park set has shared why the £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 model includes just one minifigure, and why it simply had to be Nedry.
"We talked about how many and who should the minifigures be, but with the covered car being the hero model, it was obvious that it had to be Nedry," said designer Henrik Saaby to Bricksie.

Those four Jeeps from the film are often driven by different character, including Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant. This gave the LEGO Jurassic World design team a few options for minifigures to feature in
Given Nedry's few minifigures previously, offering collectors another chance to pick him up is logical and sure to be appreciated, even in a more expensive model. The fact that it's a more expensive, display-focused model also introduced some limitations regarding the number of minifigures that could be included.
"Normally, when we have these kinds of sets, we only have one minifigure in there, so we chose to have him," Henrik continued.
While it is true that the majority of 18+ display sets include just one minifigure, if any, there are several examples of sets which feature more than one. This includes
Those first two are some of the only sets based on their respective franchises, whereas Jurassic Park has a whole theme (though it mostly sticks to Jurassic World). Looking at the 2026 wave, you can pick up different versions of the Jurassic Park cast based on their later movie appearances. Nedry never made it beyond the first film, meaning his only chance to be featured in a set this year was going to be in either 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler or 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops.
In fact, you can pick up Jurassic Park Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant in
