Currently available as a LEGO Insiders reward is the fourth in a series of collectible magnets, this time celebrating the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars in style.
Using the theme’s original logo, the LEGO Insiders Star Wars magnet is an excellent, high-quality novelty item currently available to redeem at the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre.
Following the release earlier this year of LEGO Insiders magnets based on classic icons and logos from the LEGO Group’s history, the Star Wars magnet is also available at a cost of 2,250 Insiders points, while stocks last.
For that points spend you receive an excellently-finished metal magnet complete with backplate to slot into an included metal stand, itself embossed with the LEGO Star Wars logo. This means the logo can be stood up in the stand or detached and used as a magnet wherever you see fit. As a collector’s item this ticks a lot of boxes for LEGO Star Wars fans, whilst the decision to base this off the original logo that adorned the theme’s boxes back in 1999 adds a real sense of nostalgia and charm.
Bear in mind though that the 2,250 Insiders points total required for this Star Wars magnet takes around a £275 LEGO.com/LEGO Store spend to earn in the first place. It’s a points tally that could also otherwise be used to redeem around £13 or £14 in gift vouchers to put towards a LEGO.com/LEGO Store purchase.
For how good the product is in finish and in design, if you do put your hard-earned LEGO Insiders points towards the Star Wars magnet then it will certainly deliver on expectations. It’s also worth noting that with double Insiders points live through October 20 the ‘cost’ of earning the points towards this reward is currently half what it usually is, so you only need to spend around £137.50 to get 2,250 points right now.
