LEGO Ideas welcomes two unique buildings – and a cooking rat

Three more LEGO Ideas projects have progressed past 10,000 supporters, and one of these things is not like the other...

Three more fan-designed models are now in with a chance of becoming a future LEGO Ideas set, bringing the total number of sets in the first review of 2026 up to 14. That includes two buildings with very different styles – and the food-genius chef rat from Ratatouille.

Roman Town

MoldyBubblge045's Roman Town features over 2,000 pieces, populated by five minifigures. It's not dissimilar in structure and layout to 21359 Italian Riviera, but rather than focusing on modern-day Italy, returns to the days of the Roman Empire. The set includes a farm, a workshop, and a bathhouse, all staples of Roman life that are accessible with lift-away roofs.

Windmill House

Windmill House, designed by LEGO Ideas partners BOI_Design and KittyJW, does exactly what it says on the tin. Every detail of the functional windmill has been recreated practically, so the windmill blades can rotate, either manually or by the flow of air, and the windmill can be adjusted to different wind directions. There are also plenty of aesthetic details, from plants and trees on the base to a picnic scene where two minifigure couples enjoy the view of the windmill.

Little Chef

Breaking the mold in comparison to the two buildings, Big Brick Builder's Little Chef recreates Remy from Ratatouille. The brick-built rat sports his own chef hat, a sign of his skill, and can perch on the edge of a buildable pot of some kind of stew or soup, with bits of food floating below him.
