LEGO Ideas second 2024 review results revealed

The LEGO Ideas team has revealed the results of the second 2024 review, with two projects getting the green light to become official sets – and two more entering the platform’s new parking lot.

A total of 35 different projects were in contention this time round, and the LEGO Ideas team has now confirmed that Maximilian Lambrecht’s Floating Sea Otter and Robert Becker’s Snoopy – Campfire will enter production to become official LEGO sets you’ll one day be able to buy on store shelves. For 31 of the other 33 projects, their LEGO Ideas journey ends here.

Two more of the submissions that hit 10,000 votes in this qualifying period are still in with a chance of succeeding, however, as the LEGO Ideas review board has placed Alexis Dos Santos’ Tintin Space Rocket and Sebastian Veselka’s Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle in its new ‘parking lot’. This is essentially a place to park projects that need a little more consideration from the review board.

It’s not to say that either or both of those projects will definitely get the green light, but anyone hoping to see Tintin or Downton Abbey join the LEGO Ideas line-up can still cling to the possibility of them being approved… for now. The Ideas team will share an update on those two projects alongside the results of the third 2024 review, which will be announced in May.

Floating Sea Otter and Snoopy – Campfire will now join the laundry list of LEGO Ideas sets currently in production, and will likely arrive on shelves sometime in 2026. Check out the full list as it stands currently below. The next LEGO Ideas set to arrive on shelves will be 21356 River Steamboat.
