LEGO Ideas review gains perfect early-morning project

LEGO Ideas' third 2024 review has gained a project that would be a perfect set for the early-morning rush, complete with a humourous mug.

RainbowToTT has pitched a new set on LEGO Ideas that has managed to gain enough supporters to pass it into the third 2024 review. Their coffee-centric build shouldn't be consumed directly though, as it proposes a brick-built life-sized coffee maker complete with LEGO coffee.

The main machine comes with three items to assist with the coffee-making process – a coffee pot, a coffee mug and a removable filter. Combined, these four models use 672 pieces but it's suggested that 500 water and 500 coffee elements using round elements be provided, similar to 92177 Ship in a Bottle.

This proposed model is not even close to the first sign of coffee in the world of LEGO as the beverage has been the subject of many LEGO sets and nearly had a model as part of LEGO Ideas previously. Instead of that build, the team opted for a snail recreation but now the drink has another chance of getting a LEGO Ideas set.

It hasn't been approved for a build just yet and for now joins the list of LEGO Ideas projects in the third 2024 review.
