LEGO Ideas Fortnite vs. Halloween Challenge finalists revealed

A total of 15 finalists have made it through to the next round of the LEGO Ideas Fortnite vs. Halloween Challenge, with a selection of suitably spooky builds.

The LEGO Ideas team recently announced details of a LEGO Ideas Fortnite vs. Halloween Challenge on its blog, with some lucky winners’ models eventually being added into the game at some point. The 15 finalists that have successfully made it through the contest’s fan vote have now been revealed, showcasing a suitably spooky selection of sets.

It’s worth noting that the brief for the LEGO Ideas Fortnite vs. Halloween Challenge had a few specific guidelines to ensure the submissions would be suitable for becoming digital models in a future LEGO Island. In addition, while designs could be scary, they still had to be appropriate for younger players.

With that in mind, the LEGO Ideas team has now chosen 15 submissions to move forward with to the next judging phase. Of those, we’re most impressed with the likes of Oky’s The Carnevil (great name), complete with haunted clown rides, Suitbrick’s colourful Chomp the Monster House and Brassybricks’ imposing Haunted Skull Fortress.

Each of the 15 finalists will receive some epic LEGO Fortnite loot for making it this far in the competition. The LEGO Ideas Fortnite vs. Halloween Challenge now moves onto the expert round where the 15 finalists’ designs will be scrutinised and whittled down to one grand prize winner and two runners-up. The trio of successful builders will each receive every LEGO Fortnite set currently available, as well as more LEGO Ideas models.

Once the three ultimate winners have been selected no later than November 18, the LEGO Ideas team will then look back over all 178 entries to choose which ones will be rendered digitally in the game.
