LEGO How To Train Your Dragon 10375 Toothless is an odd design choice

LEGO Icons 10375 How To Train Your Dragon: Toothless is an odd design choice, but not necessarily a bad one.

With 10375 Toothless long since rumoured amongst the LEGO community, the reveal of the LEGO Icons set is not what most people were expecting. Priced at £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 for 784 pieces, it leans into an even more cartoonish style than the original animated movie it's clearly based on. There are still various references to the source material, like Toothless' favourite snack of fish and the DIY fin that Hiccup makes for him, but the dragon clearly has a whole new look.

That's not to say it's a bad look – LEGO Toothless is still very cute, with the oversized Chibi eyes arguably making him even more adorable than his on-screen counterpart. However, it's not quite the true-to-life (or animated life) model that some fans will have been hoping for.
