Supplies of this month’s first LEGO gift-with-purchase are already running low, as 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration is no longer available in certain regions.
If you were holding out for 40594 Houses of the World 3 in hopes that this month’s two new headline freebies would overlap, you are now out of luck – at least in the US, where 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration sold out within hours of going live on July 1. (The Brick Fan claims all stock dried up within just 12 hours.) The 226-piece GWP was originally free with all LEGO Disney orders above $100.
As a result, the aftermarket price of 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration is already rising: the cheapest copy on BrickLink from a US seller costs nearly $60. Those of us across the Atlantic are either not quite so devout Disney fans, or are enjoying a greater supply of stock, because the freebie is still available in the UK and Europe when spending at least £95 / €100 on LEGO Disney sets.
