LEGO City is keeping some variety in its huge spring wave for 2025, with the latest rumours suggesting a police-themed build is on the way.
The often-reliable Instagram user fateful_04 reports some early details on the previously anonymous 60449 Off-Road Police Car Chase, suggesting a rumoured price of $36.99 for 221 pieces. The LEGO City set is thought to be coming out in March 2025, the same time as the first LEGO City Formula 1 sets.
That's good news for those who aren't interested in motorsports, highlighting that there should be some sets for everyone to enjoy in the spring wave. Indeed, LEGO City is known for being one of the most prolific LEGO themes, so there's always room for plenty to be going on.
The name suggests that, despite being a LEGO City set, the build is designed to be used outside of an urban setting, presumably with a police car chasing down another vehicle or perhaps a 4x4 version of a police car, judging from the smaller piece count. That's just speculation for now, of course, and we'll need to wait for official confirmation from the LEGO Group until we know for sure what's on the way.
