LEGO 40702 Christmas Picture Frame GWP confirmed

We now have official confirmation of an upcoming festive LEGO gift-with-purchase, in the shape of 40702 Christmas Picture Frame.

Thanks to a posting on LEGOLAND Malaysia’s Facebook page, we recently had our first look at a pair of brick-built GWPs for the festive season. The first of those, 40701 Ballerina & Nutcracker Scene, is currently still available with spends of £135 / $150 / €150 or more until December 12, while stocks last.

Now the second of the two holiday LEGO GWPs has also received an official listing, with 40702 Christmas Picture Frame soon to be an upcoming promotional build. Coming in at 209 pieces, the model has a value of £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99, but will be included for free with qualifying spends sometime in the coming weeks.

40702 Christmas Picture Frame features a colourful frame that can be displayed vertically or horizontally, before placing a photograph inside (sadly there's no dog pic included). The LEGO GWP features plenty of festive decorations too, with Christmas bells, plus a tiny tree, reindeer snowman and gingerbread house completing the holiday scene.

40702 Christmas Picture Frame measures over 16cm high, 20cm wide and 7cm deep, and there’s enough space to fit a 10cm x 15cm photograph at the back of the build. Note that the LEGO GWP is intended to be placed on a flat surface, so there are no hanging hooks inside the box.

There are currently no details as to when the 40702 Christmas Picture Frame GWP promotion may go live or what the minimum spending threshold might be to obtain the set.
