LEGO Botanicals rumoured to go dark in 2026

Yet another LEGO Botanicals set has joined the rumoured 2026 slate, and this time it sounds like the theme is preparing to go dark…

Botanicals is already said to be on the cusp of its most prosperous year yet, with 12 retail sets either already confirmed or rumoured to be blossoming in 2026 (surpassing 2025’s 10 standard retail sets) – and now lego_minecraft_goat claims in a new Instagram Story that a 13th set is in the works in the form of 11513 Dark Flowers.

There are no further details at the time of writing, including a potential price, piece count or even a release date. To that end there’s a tiny chance that this could be a 2027 set, but given it’s only March – and the product numbering slots between other rumoured 2026 releases – the likelier scenario is that it’s on the cards for some time later this year.

What’s most interesting about this rumour is of course the name of the set. Most LEGO Botanicals bouquets and plants are brightly-coloured, leaning into the vibrancy of the modern LEGO palette. A collection of darker flowers would mix things up nicely, and there are certainly plenty of options: Black Velvet petunias, ‘Queen of Night’ tulips and black dahlias could all fit the bill, for instance.

We’ve seen the latter flower already under the LEGO Wednesday banner in 76784 Black Dahlia Flower (pictured above), offering a general idea of what to expect from a darker Botanicals set, although you’d imagine the building techniques and pieces used may be a little more involved. That’s assuming this set exists at all – for now it’s only rumoured, so take what few details we have so far lightly.
