Time is running out for Xbox and PC players to check out the LEGO 2K Drive free-to-play event before it reaches the finish line this weekend.
LEGO 2K Drive was launched as a AAA video game earlier this year and has consistently appeared in the top 10 most bought physical titles since its release. In addition, the racer has received a number of updates and bonus content, with the Season 1 Drive Pass now available as an add-on expansion, as well as being the focus of a recent LEGO Ideas competition.
Three accompanying LEGO City spin-off sets also arrived online and in-stores on August 1 in the shape of 60395 Combo Race Pack, 60396 Modified Race Cars and 60397 Monster Truck Race, accurately matching their digital counterparts in the game.

Those of you who haven’t checked out LEGO 2K Drive yet can currently do so thanks to limited time free-to-play weekend events, although Xbox and PC players will need to put their pedals to the metal if they’re thinking of trying out the game.
The open-world racer is available to test via Games Pass and Steam until September 3, at which point LEGO 2K Drive will no longer be accessible for free. Lucky PlayStation users then get their shot at the title between September 7 and September 11 before the promotional event finally ends.
If you enjoy the experience, then LEGO 2K Drive is currently available to purchase in a variety of physical and digital versions, complete with online multiplayer options, multiple customisable vehicles and much more.
