The Product Certification page has revealed a first look at a mysterious new LEGO set, in the shape of 11984 Holiday/Winter Games.
Thanks to the Product Certification page, we’ve been given our first glimpse at yet another previously-unseen LEGO set. Following in the footsteps (or tyre tracks) of 40586 Moving Truck is 11984 Holiday/Winter Games, offering a selection of themed LEGO elements that may suggest that the set could potentially be a forthcoming VIP Add-On Pack at some point.
The last such promotional item to be revealed was 40606 Spring Fun VIP Add-On Pack, although there are currently no details regarding its availability. However, 11984 Holiday/Winter Games doesn’t follow the numbering of other previous sets such as 40605 Lunar New Year VIP Add-On Pack and 40512 Fun and Funky VIP Add-On Pack, suggesting the item may be intended for another purpose altogether.
11984 Holiday/Winter Games appears to include a number of minifigures accessories, flower parts and other small pieces, although there don’t seem to be as many elements as found in the usual VIP Add-On Packs.
It’s also possible that the set could be linked in some way to the LEGO Classic theme, which also starts with the ‘110XX’ numbering convention, although that’s pure speculation on our part for now. As soon as we have confirmation from the LEGO Group as to exactly what 11984 Holiday/Winter Games is and how to obtain it, we’ll let you know.
