One LEGO Ideas user has had a great weekend as two submissions have reached the first 2026 review in quick succession, with similar features.
ArcadeBricker is the newest member of LEGO Ideas' 10K Club, earning plenty of support for not just one, but two of their projects this weekend. It just so happens that these submissions share a function and are based on video games, too.
Befitting of their name, the user has seen both their Tony Hawk Pro Skater and EXCITEBIKE Arcade projects reach the first 2026 review. They are based on a 90s TV and arcade machine, respectively. The main attraction of both sets is a recreation of their gameplay with a build attached to a beam that can move up and down, ascending and descending ramps as they do in their games.
Despite the similarity of the base functions, the projects are different enough to stand individual chances of getting official sets in this review round. The Excitebike build's course can even be customised, similar to the game's cameo in Mario Kart 8.
These two models have joined the current LEGO Ideas review round. The LEGO Ideas review board will now determine whether to produce them as official sets sold on LEGO Store shelves. Here's a reminder of everything currently in the first 2026 review, now at 84 submissions.
