With more than 150 LEGO sets released this month, here are some of the best to buy if you're after impressive minifigures.
If you're a minifigure collector, the characters included in sets are always going to be the first feature that jumps out at you. With dozens of sets launching this month, there are plenty of new minifigures hitting shelves as well.
We've picked out some of the best sets to buy to expand your collection of minifigures, ranging from battle packs to sprawling display models.
11371 Shopping Street

LEGO modular buildings are all about storytelling, and that can't be done without the characters playing a central role. The stars of the show in 2026's 11371 Shopping Street have to be the twin band members. Extra care was taken to make sure the twins are similar enough to be clearly related, but different enough to keep some variety in the eight minifigure-strong set. Both feature freckles and the same colour hair, although with different styles and expressions to differentiate them.
We're especially impressed with the nod to LEGO history in the Billund crest on their hats. For an extra meta nod, this pair of minifigures is also actually based on designer Hoang Huy Dang's own twin daughters.

75449 Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack

Although there are some minor inaccuracies in the grey visors of the Mandalorians in 75449 Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack, this is generally speaking an impressive battle pack. Each Mandalorian has slight differences in their armour and the printed distress marks that keeps things interesting, while the 332nd Clone Troopers are well worth collecting if you haven't already.
While arm printing on the Mandalorians in particular would have been welcome, 75449 Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack is an excellent way to add more diversity to any Mandalore-based Star Wars LEGO displays.
71861 The Old Town

We described the minifigure selection in 71861 The Old Town as legendary in our review, and even now when the dust has settled, that's not an exaggeration. Between first-time minifigures for Dr. Julien and Faith, anniversary minifigures for young Wu, young Garmadon, and the First Spinjitzu Master himself, and updated versions for under-served characters like Krux, Mystake, Harumi as she appears in Crystalized, and Dr. Saunders, there's just so much to dig into for NINJAGO fans.
Virtually every minifigure is either new or an upgrade on what's come before, so much so that it's hard to pick out specific favourites. That said, the level of detail on some of the lesser-known warriors in particular is very compelling.
76335 Spider-Man vs. Ghost Rider Motorcycle

You don't have to shell out the big bucks for good minifigures, however, with 76335 Spider-Man vs. Ghost Rider Motorcycle coming in at just £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99. This is Ghost Rider at his most fiery, with a detachable flaming headpiece and fire coming out of his eyes and mouth, as well as his hands. The colour and texture is spot on for a truly unique minifigure that looks awesome, whether you are a Ghost Rider fan or not.
71051 Animals Series 28

Last but certainly not least, it's perhaps no surprise that 2026's first LEGO Collectible Minifigures series has a fair few minifigures well worth collecting. Some of the best among them, in our opinion, are the parrot, the dalmatian, and the peacock, but honestly, an argument can be made for any of them.
