Fan reactions to LEGO 2K Drive reveal just a few reservations

Following the reveal of LEGO 2K Drive, here's what fans had to say about the upcoming game release – both positive and negative.

The LEGO Group revealed the game in a teaser snippet that encouraged players to 'start your engines'. Already, some fans simply can't wait to get their hands on the game, taking to Twitter to shout about their excitement.

Others were more sceptical, expressing concern about the incremental costs that microtransactions (a common sight in modern games) become.

It's easy to draw early comparisons between LEGO 2K Drive and other racing games, as well.

While there might have been worries about negative comparisons between LEGO 2K Drive and LEGO Racers, others saw this new reveal as an upgrade to any continuation of the latter.
