10,000 people have supported a LEGO Ideas set that returns to a long-retired theme centred around the world's most famous turtles.
First-time 10K Club member teljesnegyzet has gained 10,000 supporters for a detailed build of all four characters from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. Made from 2,522 LEGO pieces, each figure is fully articulated and equipped with their respective weapons.
In style, they're similar to some of the LEGO Marvel buildable superhero figures, but also might remind long-term LEGO fans of the official TMNT theme, which retired in 2014. Although the original LEGO sets, released between 2013 and 2014, were minifigure-scale playsets, this fan-made design is perhaps more geared towards older fans who want a display-focused model.
