After taking off on a safety regulation document this year, 5010053 Airplane is now confirmed to be an airport-exclusive LEGO gift-with-purchase.
LEGO 5010053 Airplane has come in for a landing at at least two airport stores around the world. It has been spotted at the Dallas Fort Worth airport in the US by snt271 on Reddit, and by Zachare Holle on Facebook. It has also been found in Singapore Changi Airport by Vivien Teo.
The 149-piece model depicts a retro-looking LEGO airplane with two minifigures. None of the elements looks to be exclusive, and the packing only consists of a standard yellow box and the instructions, which also act as the box cover.

Sightings of the new LEGO GWP have confirmed that it is available with spends of $75 in the US or $125 in Singapore on all purchases. While it won't be hard to recreate once the parts list and instructions are shared online, it's a good bonus for those shopping while flying out from an airport.
While it has only been spotted at the Dallas Fort Worth and Singapore Changi airports for now, it will be worth dropping into an airport LEGO store next time you are flying out of a terminal with one. Airports with LEGO stores are located worldwide, and one fan on Reddit has compiled a helpful list of them.
