31 LEGO Ideas projects rejected from the second 2024 review

With two fan-designed LEGO builds confirmed and two more being considered, that unfortunately means some projects won't become official sets.

The second LEGO Ideas review round of 2024 was stacked with licensed builds as well as unique original projects. While two sets have now been confirmed as future LEGO Ideas sets – Maximilian Lambrecht’s Floating Sea Otter and Robert Becker’s Snoopy – Campfire – and two more are waiting in the parking lot for further consideration – Alexis Dos Santos’ Tintin Space Rocket and Sebastian Veselka’s Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle, that leaves 31 other fan-designed models that haven't been successful.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's the end of the line for these fan designers, however. You can always re-submit a LEGO Ideas design, so long as you start a new listing, or start fresh with a whole new idea.

Some of the unlucky projects not to be picked during the second 2024 review include homages to nostalgic TV, like Wallace & Gromit – A Grand Day Out and The Iron Giant in the Forest, or picturesque builds based on real-life inspiration, like Humpback Whale Breach and Impression Sunrise – Monet.
